I think that nobody now needs to be convinced that she was just a pretty face in tight pants. I can’t speak of the prevailing opinion in the late 1970's. But if she is just that, then I think that the rest of the band are essentially non-entitities.

Yep.  A lot of schools, including mine, have shortened winter break in order to have a random week off in February.  So, we get winter break, and a week off in Feb, and a week off for Spring Break in April.  I love it, I haven’t heard anyone dislike it.

Really, I am a Padres fan and I didn’t know that. Interesting. Henderson played with the Padres in 1996-1997 and 2001. So that was either Bochy’s 2nd, 3rd, or 7th year as a manager. It was probably 2001. Bochy guided the Padres to the playoffs in 1996, which probably impressed Henderson.
