My reaction wasn't quite that extreme, but I was similarly disappointed by the single, and relieved to see a positive review here. I guess I'll give it a few listens on Spotify and then probably end up buying the vinyl.

Candy-asses are much better at bottoming, anyway.
Don't forget Madison!
Is that a euphemism?
The first concert I ever attended was also Matchbox Twenty, largely because they were the only "rock" act that ever played the country-loving Texas college town where I grew up. I can't remember the last time I listened to one of their songs by choice, but I'll always have a bit of affection for them.

Honorable mention to Deerhoof, ANOHNI, Beyonce, and Explosions in the Sky. "I Need a Forest Fire" is a fantastic song, but other than that I haven't fully engaged with the new…
That will forever be my reference point as well, because that may be the funniest 30 seconds of TV ever aired.
That's the worst name I ever heard.
Fortunately, they also released a video for that one: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
Ramsay Bolton is a cool guy. His dad is a powerful lord, working for this man. The girls like him just fine. Young and old, it doesn’t matter…in the dark.
As someone who works in healthcare IT, that Theranos slam had me rolling.
I haven't had a chance to really dig into this one yet (I've been too busy listening to Mitski on repeat), but based on my first couple of listens the album is exactly what I wanted/expected from new Deerhoof. My copy also came with a cassette mixtape of the band covering some of their favorite songs, but I have no…
