Furthermore, a 24-year-old dating a 17-year-old is at least only 7 years apart (not you know, like Woods where he’s literally old enough to be that girl’s grandfather). But really it’s one of those things that depend on the maturity of the people involved. My sister is still about as mature at 24 as she was at 17, so…

Basically seeing “McDonagh” as the listed writer/director is an automatic “will see” for me at this point.

Well based on your point, I think you could still say Sean’s right. Our revenge fantasies played out in the superhero movies, while our personal anxieties played out on HBO’s shows.

They played here in town about two years ago, and unfortunately they were playing during the week of Sept. 11, which led to some people getting very upset about seeing that band’s name on the marquee of the downtown theater. Which is a shame. Their music’s pretty good.

I will say in fairness to HBO, Rome was a monumentally expensive show and one that they at least gave a heads up so they could wrap up the plot. I really wish they’d at least told Milch ahead of time they were going to cancel Deadwood, or at least given him one more season to wrap it up.

Yeah it definitely looks like they caked him with as much color-correcting pancake make-up as they could get away with. He should be thanking them for managing to make him look better than this article’s header image.
