You know what sucks? Working a 12 hour day on freelance rates to single-handedly run a website, and spending most of that time trying to highlight unknown indie games, to then find the only comment under a review of a properly great game deserving of wide attention is some sneering wankery complaining about a slightly

A core feature that has been in every level-based game, to be sure. I can imagine them jumping to an open world presented new challenges for implementing co-op though, such as what to do if one player enters a dedicated mission trigger while the other is off driving God knows where.

It’s absolutely baffling. Like, I want Infinite to be the best game it can be. I still think Halo has a lot to offer that its contemporaries don’t, and some of the “controversy” around this game is, in my opinion, pretty overblown (mostly the nitpicking from diehards who won’t accept anything that’s not just Reach 2.0)

Kind of wild how a studio can pay an actor close to $8m for a role that can be left on the cutting room floor.

She was paid $7 million for a part that didn’t even make it into the Thor final cut? Thats nuts

This was inevitable. They haven’t updated the game in almost a year. Last patch was September 2021, for a f2p battle royal, this is a death sentence and the studio had been silent since then.

It was clear that the studio was not doing well on top of the game not doing well right from the start.

Sad because it was a nice

However long it takes... The combo of Ito’s visuals and Colin Stetson’s music gives me goosebumps just from the trailers, seeing it all in motion is overwhelmingly exciting.

That’s a bummer, but I gotta respect the commitment to doing this right. If you’re going to try and recreate Ito’s style in motion you can’t half ass it.

I’m confused why this isn’t a straight worker’s comp claim.  You get injured or killed on the job, worker’s comp covers it.  But you don’t get extra for pain and suffering.  You basically get your income and medical bills covered.

Literally every game with a leaderboard has this issue

It’s only tangentially related and happened earlier this month, but I don’t keep up to date with twitter things, so I figured I’d throw it out there because we can all use a little something like this in our lives. Good dudes like Cena are pretty incredible.

Have you never heard of Zines before?

They’ve existed forever. People regularly put these together, especially people who ship characters.

Star Trek fans made these things in the 80s etc.

the problem is that people are still buying Mario Kart 8 at $60 because it’s Mario Kart 8, so Nintendo sees no need to lower the price of the game when it’s still selling like hot cakes because everyone who has a switch needs to get a Mario Kart to go along with it.

Nintendo’s “Player’s Choice” was bascially only $20 on SNES and handhelds.

N64 forward, its been pretty much $40, sometimes $30

Daddy Kotick need his golden umbrella.

Probably get more people to spend money if the return was more reasonable.

blizzard sold everyone World of Warcraft and continues to charge them $15 a month to play it 18 years later

Well I think buying electronics used is ok as long as you don’t rely on the device being your daily driver or even only one. If it is a spare or a secondary device used electronics are perfectly ok, I rarely had bad luck with some old CD ROM or floppy drives but that’s it.

What? No. It isn’t. It doesn’t include any roms or emulators, and they actually advertise it as a streaming device. Besides, there is no legal precedent for a company to successfully sue to shut down emulators, let alone a device that can run them regardless. There's dozens upon dozens of devices sold that actively DO

“Not having used one” followed by “but it’s safe to say”

No. If you’re doing an honest review, omit these kind of things. I honestly stopped seriously reading this there since it shows there’s zero credibility here, but the rest is entertaining.

Post the specs, sure. Don’t say dumb shit like this.
