This shooting took place in New York which has strict gun laws. If the shooter used an assault rifle, he obtained it illegally because those are banned in NY.

Low fidelity and complexity in comparison to Sony/Microsoft may be a huge competitive advantage given COVID’s disruption to dev cycles. This is in addition to their chip manufacturing disruption likely to be less impacted as its not sharing a die size with current gen PC parts. Hope to hear what they have planned for

The 2006 prey was so much better. This one is pretty repetitive.

Reminds me of rainbow six vegas lets you map a photo to an ingame model

Loved the actual original (one of the first games my buddy let me play on his 360) and I’ve seen all the love for this. May have to check it out.

Prey 2's trailer is still one of my favorite reveal trailers. That’s one of those things where if I won the lottery I would probably fund it’s development.

It was a really odd choice to reboot the title in a way with essentially zero connection to the original game.

Walt Disney said “I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained.” and I think those are pretty good words to live by.

And know where your baking soda is

I actually learned from a comedic insurance ad (Farmers?) to not put water on a grease fire, but rather, cover it.

This is America. If you’re rich enough, you can make it legal for your kids to kill others while driving drunk.

this specifically reminds me of Resident Evil Gun Survivor for the PS1.

Guys, I’m starting to think that maybe Elder Ring isn’t as hard as people make it out to be.

I mean, for much of Nintendo’s history, that’s kinda what they’ve done. The original Game Boy is one of the best examples of them using old, cheap internals for a variety of reasons. If it works, it works.

You get a lot of people watching a given game which drives its placement higher on the front page, it isn’t for the people already watching the stream. It’s for the people arriving on twitch and looking at channels and seeing a new game up near the top with a lot of people watching it and joining in and it turning

Seriously? Kotaku is going to write an article criticizing Twitch streamers covering something THE ENTIRE GOD DAM WORLD IS TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!

People like big butts and they cannot lie.

The fact that they don’t make 100s of SKUs a year means they have SOME knowledge about what people will want and “too small to reasonably hold” is a very real concern for a handheld device. Especially considering the very notable popularity of the larger versions of each unit of the DS lines.
