When the community is so full of sexual predators, it's no wonder that Nintendo wants no part of it.

Be happy with your unofficial, grass-roots tournaments, or let Smash tournaments die. Those are your only two options.

While you’re right in those points, I think demos are sufficiently pro consumer to justify those points.

Wouldnt that be same as people buying the game at full cost and then returning it the next day for a full refund, it would still suck for the developer either way. Its not a win win way either if they didnt provide a demo. Its also unfair for people to buy a 60 - 70 dollar game and come to find out that they dont like…

I’m in favor of demos. I miss them. Companies should be excited to show off their new games with hands-on demos.

Ah yes, the opposite of “waste not”. Why keep a perfectly good thing and just freshen it up when you can chuck it in a fucking landfill for no reason?

Just go after them with full maritime law then. I assume fire suppression, crew training, emergency measures, etc. are not up to snuff.

So, first of all this “boat” definitely has all of the physical requirements laid out by the USCG. If it didn’t, I doubt they’d actually be able to sell it as a boat. And there is a definite lack of “crew training and emergency measures” for private boats that are only 75' in length.

A lot of those maritime codes only apply to vessels that displace a certain tonnage. Just looking  at its size, I’m willing to bet it is well-under the requirements for owner-operated vessels or pleasure craft that don’t require any crew or more than the most rudimentary emergency equipment. 

If it’s already registered with the Coast Guard, I’m assuming that it meets all CG requirements for a vessel of it’s type.
