Exactly. And a) those drugs don't show up in tests, and b) Cosby was very powerful. The idea that a woman who'd had such a scary experience would turn Miss Marple and go back and interview everyone who'd seen her have an experience THAT SHE KNEW SHE'D BEEN THROUGH, is ridiculous. If you're in a car crash, do you trot

Women! Always trying to trick the flawless male with our imperfect physical attributes! When will we learn??

I was resting my chin in my hand in one photo. Cue many suspicious men:
"Why are you covering your face?"
"Why can't I see your whole face?" (you can, in the other photo).
Some said they wouldn't meet up with me until they could see my chin, because you know that the absolute worst thing that could happen would be to

She also swapped places with a sex worker in an Amsterdam brothel.

Why did you put "claims"?

Would it be possible to charge the arseholes that did this to you now? As has happened in the UK with sexual abuse in schools etc? EDS is a serious condition. What these people did is disgusting.

Am still wondering when he's going to get nailed for phone tapping.

Note his Twitter avi. "Just regular old me, hanging out with not-white people, making them laugh!"

I thought that if a news story was meant to have happened in Darmstadt, this was shorthand for "it is a made-up story that got loose from the German equivalent of The Onion somehow."

So THIS is why she's called Amanda fucking Palmer.

Scratch my earlier comment, I read the Raw Story piece. She basically purchased copies of her book (at a standard author discount) to hand out to donors to the PAC. Authors get a certain number of free copies of their books but after that you have to buy them.

Yes.. That is very weird. The only thing I can think of is that she had a deal to write another book, and has not delivered. Hence broke the contract and had to hand the money back.

Also, this body has been studied by archaeologists (and archaeology is super-science based) and scientists since 1993. There have been numerous peer-reviewed papers published on her. You have read one blog post about her. I suggest it might be YOU badmouthing science, not the person who has studied her for over two

There are already quite a few people out there with copies of her tattoos. She's been fairly "famous" for years. She was on Hairpin or Jezebel the other month because she's thought to be angry at being excavated, and causing problems.

Well, she definitely didn't starve. Her grave had luxury goods from China and India in it, fine fabrics, an entire collection of sacrificed riding horses, some horsemeat and other foods. The meat defrosted during excavation.
Also, she was in permafrost before she was excavated. So she's not mummified, but frozen.

Not sure, but her tattoos were beautiful. Also, she had a lotta horses with fancy masks.

Sometimes they do. But it's really not a sport. It's not meant to be "fair". It's about killing a bull.

I think the interviews turn out this way because, as this post points out, the stars' PR people refuse to let anything actually get discussed, and only allow the briefest audiences. There's a really embarrassing interview Anthony Lane (of all people) did with ScarJo that's a case in point. Even the New Yorker's film

I get ya, but the conditions at Canadian horse feedlots and slaughterhouses are horrific. Also, many of the horses are purchased in the US and transported longdistance to Canada in shitty circumstances, without proper welfare or hygiene checks. I've seen some of this stuff first hand and it is a nasty, nasty trade.

Women, eh? You can't live with them, but you can't live without them either. This is the ingenious solution: all your favourite bits of woman (their bodies) without any annoying personality, brain, or volition attached! Brilliant!
