My guess is that this is pretty much a direct result of the State of Illinois closing mental health facilites due to lack of funding. There are a lot of previously institutionalized people who are now out on the streets of IL without access to meds or treatment.

So what this sounds like is a single speed long geared transmission that is only engaged when the battery is depleted and the vehicle is traveling at highway speed.

@jalexei: Having worked (as a volunteer) for a large celebrity endorsed fundraiser I strongly suspect that Brady received the loaner Audi as an in-kind payment for his participation. I would also be shocked if Audi USA did not consider his use of the S8 a donation and claim a tax deduction.

So the aforementioned Buddies are better served by their super rich celebrity spokes person driving around (albeit poorly) in a $97,000 car than $97,000 cash? I'm kinda wondering who Audi really thinks its "Best" buddy really is.
