That is a pretty trick trailer. It looks like the wheels turn to accommodate the long wheelbase and wide spacing between tires.

So a 2009 Audi is better than a 1979 Mercedes? I guess I don't get the point. Reminds me of the false comparison Chevy commercial making funny of the Ford "man step."

I was there in '02. There are a lot of old cars that are kept together by pure ingenuity due to issues getting spare parts because of the embargo. Walking around you would come across quite a few with the hoods up. One I looked at had a throttle body hand made with a soup can. Another was a really nice looking

That is one smooth idling machine.

I would love to see the guy in the main photo actually go to Detroit and walk around dressed like that.

540 HP?!?!?!? I remember when the 1994 Camaro Z28 came out with a 275 HP V8 and thinking there will never be a stock Mustang with that much horse power. I also remember driving one and it was really fast. I can't even imagine how fast a car with twice the horse power would be.

Does it turn to the right? Or is that an option?

Maybe it is used for job re-training?

@c0de: Don't be a dick.

Do the handicapped placards come standard on Buicks? I always thought it was just coincidence that every Buick had them.

A co-worker of mine actually contracted leishmaniasis earlier this year. It was caught early and he fully recovered. FYI: I work with people who spend significant portions of the year in tropical rain forests. He did NOT contract it on the subway or in an elevator.

Tomorrow I'm driving this exact stretch from Chicago to the 'rents house for Christmas. Great!

Wagon version PLEASE. FYI the recently canceled taurus-x was NOT a wagon, just a bad crossover. Real wagons use the same sheetmetal forward of the c-pillar. Everyone is running from SUVs and a wagon would be a great place for them to run to. The Chevy Malibu designers could heed this advice as well.

@milo_carrera—eyepatch-free since 1982.: If only you were right. All commercial hydrogen comes from natural gas, a fossil fuel. The result of this energy intensive process is CO released from the factory. The same CO that would come from burning the natural gas. The current hydrogen economy is almost the same as

When I first saw the list I thought it was wierd compared to the list of most stolen cars from previous years.

A few years ago I had a tour of the plant on the south side of Chicago were these two (along with the Taurus) are/were built (at the time is was Freestyle/500/Montego). It was pretty amazing to walk from one end of the line seeing robotic welders on the frame to vehicles driving off the line on the other end. This

Weird times because Tesla took a roadster to a drag strip and was getting time in the upper 12s, almost 2 full seconds faster than the times here. I wonder if this Tesla still had the original drive train in it.
