Agreed. When we think of Japanese products, reliability comes to mind. Unfortunately, for Chinese auto manufacturers, Chinese goods are largely known for their affordability (read: cheap), and their short longevity (read: unreliable / throw away). Who would want to sell foreign made autos in a saturated market, with

Another garbage clickbait headline. How are they pissing off “everyone possible?” Sure the factory workers who had hoped to be rehired might be disappointed, but that’s not “everyone possible.” I’m not pissed. You’re not pissed. Mrs Wilson from number 43 is not pissed. As the last paragraph clearly states, this is SOP.

I wonder how much a no-deal Brexit factors into this.

I mean the entire point of a hypercar is to engineer bragging rights for stuff that the car will never actually do outside of manufacturer sanctioned driving events with professionals so why not?

I mean, yes, that’s how planning a factory works. You shop around for the best deal, and settle where it makes sense the most. Spain’s proximity to suppliers and presumably cheaper labor base all bode well. Best of luck to Ineos wherever they end up

I’m assuming the only seat leather color choice will be dark brown

nah, better yet, get fired, and recieve a huge severance package valued much higher than your early earnings.

Dead on accurate. Take a star from someone who drives an ATS4 Coupe.

there never was a “window” for Chinese auto makers.

You get a call five minutes after reading The Morning Shift. It’s someone with a British accent you can’t understand because they’re also crying, and they tell you that you are now in charge of Jaguar Land Rover. What should you do?

This was my take as well... there never was a “window” for Chinese auto makers.

Neutral: like most CEOs, I would go golf, fire a few people, then retire and collect my stock options and pension.

there was never a market for Chinese cars in the US. our market has been over saturated for years and its just now finally winding down with companies like Ford & GM discontinuing alot of their lineup.

Thank you so much for this Traffic video link. In my mind, 1967-1973 was Peak Rock. This was the time of Jimi Hendrix, post-Rubber Soul Beatles, Pink Floyd, Clapton, and so many many more. By the time I’d earned my BSEE in 1977, Rock had degenerated into Stadium/Corporate Rock (Boston/Kansas/REO Speedwagon, Peter

It looks about 14 feet, so if that is an adult male, it is a on the large side.

Exactly. I expect Mazda to sell literally dozens of these things. Now if they do it to a CX-3, different story.

Golf GTI competitor. With AWD, all that torque, and the vastly superior interior. this thing will eat Golfs alive. The sedan will steal all 10 of the potential Jetta GLI customers.

Passionate buyers doesnt matter too much sadly since take rates are in the low teens for most models with a manual in the US. That makes them far too expensive to make regularly

Disagree. if you can hook all of that torque it will be a rocket. These do not weigh much and the AWD will help with grip (I can blow the tires off even with torque limited in 1 and 2).
