Chris Roberts leads development on a space sim that promises to be everything you’ve ever wanted, then goes way over-budget, gets delayed year after year, and in the meantime, they put out a dogfighting component to allay the anxiety of fans.

Did they just... roadmap their roadmap?

At this rate, Im fine either way. I only plunked down money during the initial Kickstarter run, and mentally wrote the money off years ago. While I do not invest further funds, I will admit to keeping my SC account updated and checking in on occasion...

Plain clothes, running up and snatching someone without clear establishment of what authority you are representing is not how we as Americans accept an arrest. This person was not a violent extremist or anything that would require a tactic of this level. Nor would would we arrest someone who did meet that level in…

Until I read the whole article, I thought “doomscrolling” referred to when you’re reading an article on Lifehacker, and instead of being able to continue reading, an annoying fucking video ends up sticking to the top of your screen, blocking half of the article. No. He didn't. He's pretending he just doesn't want to get involved with politics when he's obviously anti-BLM. He has a number of conservative dog whistles in his post but is too much of a coward to admit that's the real reason he won't put out a statement supporting them.

I am fully convinced that anybody who uses the term “virtue signaling” has a long history of getting fired for not getting along with people and then claiming it was a toxic work environment.
