I always have referred to this as your schmatta. An inexpensive, comfortable garment that you don’t care if it gets a stain, can be tossed in the washer and dryer... but at the same time you can answer the door or run to the post box down the street and be decent. My preferred use for a schmatta is as a cover-up when

The “rebirth” of the house dress is both kind of great (comfort) and silly. My (Norwegian-American) grandmother wore this phenomenally ugly pepto-pink house dress when she didn’t have company and I have to say— it’s the only thing I could think of when I read that article.

Between working from home and the covid-19lbs, jeans are out and dresses are in.

Some people just could care less.

I know it was Dunst’s original mistake, but why did Joan have to go and put it in the headline? That’s just salt in the wound.

Yes, Kirsten would prefer to be apart from this. Jesus, writers!

It’s a lot like the Alot

they are literally the opposite of each other. it shouldn’t be this hard.

I hate people who confuse “apart” and “a part.”

Are you so disconnected from the world that you don’t know what brown people/ brown girl means? Fuck off with your “I only see color” bullshit.

Can you blame her for not wanting the public to see she’s nothing but octopus tentacles from the waist down?

They really need to let you folks live outside of NYC and work remotely more often. You could probably afford at least a 1 or 2-bedroom apartment upstate.

I’ve seen the ethics of this debated, as several of the writers listed continued to use their pen names even after having their identities widely known.

Many of these books were intentionally published under pseudonyms by choice, and the way this series was conceived has erased trans and queer authors that didn’t want to be published under their “real” names.  I’m seriously hoping the initiative is scrapped and reconsidered, as it robs these authors of agency.

I really need to be clapping for you up and down this thread.

I am so tired of these stupid purity tests that are specifically targeted at women candidates. If you want Trump and friends to kill more Americans, then just say it alrrady.
