Well Blizzard's main reason for cancelling Titan was that they had issues with making the game fun. It looked amazing and worked well, but it wasn't fun to play (their words mind you, not mine).

They reused a lot of assets originally developed for Titan in the design for Overwatch. :) Presumably it's arena PvP system formed the initial basis of what would become known as Overwatch.
