I think the same like when she calms down and deals with it internally and becomes truly Inhuman she'll blossom into something more and or they don't retract but she still comes to terms with it. Being the character that embraces it to Skye's clinging to humanity

the only thing is though will it be by the hands of the inhumans or will it be due to some sort of Hydra/leviathan (or other secret organisation) miss use (weaponisation) of the other terrigen crystals.
