I think there are some limitations with the whole flying thing. like how much and how long. Bending probably does take some level of chi or energy/stamina to perform.

i'm sorry but so far it's been pretty tame up until the lava bending.

i'm talking about spectacle and in offensive ability it's far better than metal bending which is really just like earth bending just with metal when you are a spectator. Also to be be at the level where you not only can move the very earth but also melt it is pretty fucking awesome!

I am so happy to see that they've evolved earth bending a bit more with the Lava Master from the Red Lotus..metal bending is okay but it wasn't anything as awesome as fire benders been able to throw lightning!
