Yup! I worked on three games last console cycle that were ready to go for cross-platform play, and while Sony was all for it, Microsoft told us to get lost.

That’s part of it, but it’s more about selling consoles. Sony is way ahead on number of owned consoles, which are all about momentum.

As someone who was working on cross-platform support for our biggest games towards the end of the 360/PS4 generation, Microsoft’s take hear is hilarious to me.
