My response to “transphobic”

“…the first two episodes weren’t particularly good.”

I honestly don’t get the hype. The reborn xfiles has to be one of the worst shows I have ever seen. The dialogue and stories are childish at best.

It really didn’t.

Agreed. Absolutely hated it. It was miserable.

You can go wrong by having about two jokes in the entire episode told over and over and over. The episode basically shouts “I’M FUNNY!!!! I’M WACKY!!! THE INTERNET WILL MAKE SO MANY GIFS OUT OF ME LOLL!!!!!”

Transphobia aside (and yes, I think it was transphobic), I really didn’t enjoy this episode at all. For the exception of the potential Clyde Bruckman reference, the fact that Scully saved herself and that she totally just stole a dog, there wasn’t anything in it for me.

If you liked those episodes, you won’t like this one. Completely different type of humor.

As a longtime X-Files fan I don’t understand the appeal of this episode.

So am I only in thinking the first two episodes were better? I just want a dark mystery surrounded by a lot of conspiracy, I really miss the mystique.... this episode is cute but it’s not what has me hooked in

I found it to be like some poor fan fiction .

I loved the episode up until we got to the graveyard. Every scene with Rhys Darby was terrible, both in his performance and the dialog.

What? No. This was pure shit. Horribly written with bad acting. Very poor.

It was another shit episode that tried to hard to be “funny”. It was not.

Don’t. I felt exactly the same way. The viewers deserve better, or even mediocre.

Last nights episode continued with what exactly is wrong with the reboot. The dialogue continues to be painfully tin-eared. The performaces are still wooden at best, embarassing at worst. We stop for twenty minutes in the middle of the Episode while Mulder has an incoherent chat with the were-human to ensure even the

I feel like a cynical ass. Despite Duchovny finally acting like Mulder again, I really hated this episode.

Thought it was too light

I tried to watch venture bros. I made it through the pilot and the first three episodes.

I haven’t seen an episode of X-files, but I couldn’t stop noticing things. Mulder is a lot....slower. I don’t know how to describe it. And Scully just seems tired.
