I can't believe how the prices of old Bakelite phones have sky rocketed. I bought mine maybe 5 or 6 years ago off ebay for around $20 to the door. The guy even threw in an extra one because he was trying to get rid of them.

Cheap cables for digital signals are the way to go. If you are looking for cables that carry analog signals you are still better off to pay for the good stuff because of the interference from other sources.

@battra92: That's right there is a difference in buying magnetically shielded cables for analog signals and wasting your money on magnetic shielding on HDMI when all it is passing through are 1's and 0's :)
