@NoBullet: Although some Japanese robot ideas may look sweet and cute, don't underestimate the true potentials of Doraemon. Together with all the weapon gadgets he's got, he also has a bomb that can destroy the entire world, which he once tried to use against a rat. God knows what kind of damage he would do on…
These points are understandable but I wonder how realistic they are in the current economy and market especially for those smaller dying companies:
@Bloatus: I just have to thank you for those wonderful points you made. Your second point was especially well written and I'm surprised to see a non-Japanese person make such objective stand point on that part of the history.
I hope they use all the original voice actors' epic dialogue and not something redubbed by someone else. Seems like the 6 Nanto-rokuseikens are gonna be in it, so I hope they would also include the Nanto-Goshaseis. This is going to be a truly epic game.
@Brotha Kyo: Henshin a Go Go Baby~: Tom Cat's "Tough Boy" opening is pretty darn good too.
@infinitezero: you really need to both read the comic and watch the anime for the epic scenes and dialogues
These are the kind of people who still uses the term "Walkman" for all portable handheld music players.
I wont be surprised. One of the hospitals I once interend in had a correctional facility, which held criminals of various backgrounds. They were getting HD TVs installed whilst the rest of the patients in the hospital had to suffer with 10-20 year old TVs.
@Friedhamster: As the article states in the bottom, this statement is merely a new years resolution. Theres no reason for them not to talk and plan big in order to appeal to the public.
10bucks someone will make an upskirt version of this within 3 days
Can't complain, I mean this is real life D&D roleplaying quality with some added effects and music, and the terrible acting. Nintendo did the right thing to protect the image of their franchise.
In front of Sogo? They will sure get all the attention there from the huge intersection but Times Square would have been a wiser choice with more space around. Also bamboo scaffolding in HK = safety hazard no matter what.
OOOHHH he's got a collection of the addicting Game & Watch titles! I used to spend hours playing those games and I would definitely do so even at this time with all these new games around.
@MonkeyBiz: by blurring things up, the characters are "technically" not involved in in sexual conduct or whatsoever. Same with Japanese AV's, the actors/actresses are only acting and not involved in any sexual conducts "technically speaking".
@Placentasaurus: try to go for the GBA/PS/DS remakes for the earlier titles from NES. Some might try to play them on NES emulators but it ruins it because that would let you save anywhere, whereas the remakes are better balanced and suited for those that are not used to playing user unfriendly games from NES in…
Haha I can see why II is listed at the bottom...game abruptly starts with a battle that you die miserably, all but 2 of the NPCs that join your party die, having to walk through passages that you can't see in dungeons, deathrider (in Pandemonium palace), stats/weapon/spell skill level system, the spell Ultima thats…
@NoBullet: When did Japan steal and claim the origin of such hobby to be theirs? Even the Japanese wikipedia entry on cosplay starts off by mentioning that the idea originated from trekkies and other Sci-Fi people from the US. Sure the terminology "cosplay" was invented in Japan and the term went overseas but every…
@Purple Dave: Actually most Japanese cosplayers make their own stuff. They will spend their time and effort in looking for fabrics, garments, and accessories that are affordable and will match the image of the costume that they are trying to make. Afterall those premade costume stores tend to have limited varieties…
@GunFlame: hahaha I thought of the same kind of thing when I first saw the screenshots for DQ9
