I don’t know these guys at all, but they set off some alarms.

So much room for activities!
A few years ago this would have seemed lame, now it seems like their only hope for continued relevance.
All I need is a taller garage, a shorter car, and a deeper bank account.
The fact someone is paid to interact with you doesn’t give you a license to be a dick to them or intentionally make their life difficult.
What, exactly, is the case for more strategic bombers? Presumably the B1 and B2 have the air dropped component of the nuclear triad covered. I have a hard time imagining a scenario where the US is in a conflict so bad that we’ve abandoned tactical strikes for heavy strategic bombing ala WWII, but nukes are still off…
Nope, it’s stunning how bad they were when you look at the actual test reports. Less 95 Corolla and more 95 Freightliner.
ActiveX came out in 1996, HTML5 became viable in 2009 or so, and as you yourself said didn’t get formally blessed until 2014. So yeah, I would call 13-18 years a generation, especially in the software world.
A whole generation of devs that managed to build successful web apps prior to HTML5 without resorting to ActiveX garbage begs to differ.
But this is Michigan, it’s really the “mountain” part of this whole statement that’s questionable. Maybe “hill,” “bump,” or “snow pimple” would be more accurate?
Gubmint is full of waste and inefficiency! Let’s cut taxes and force them to downsize and work like corporations!
No, my understanding was that the NOx trap system they designed just plain wouldn’t work in real world usage. Turning it on outside testing would degrade performance, but it also would cause major premature drivetrain failure problems. They needed to start over on the whole design using conventional Urea based system,…
It’s more complicated than that. When Ford bought LR in the 90's they sold their already ancient I4 diesel design to International, and Ford and LR teamed up on a new 5 cylinder. The new TD5 was not well loved, and Ford actually went back to the old Land Rover 300TDI (now a 2.8l International) to build a 3.0…
To really show my Landy geek card, the evolution went like this:
It was actually the other way around for a while. The old 3.0 Powerstroke was based on the International 2.8, which was in turn a lightly modified Rover 300TDI. The basic engine block goes all the way back to 1950's Land Rovers, where it was used in both gasoline and diesel models.
Was really surprising to me when I test drove one. I’ve owned similar sized vehicles with similar power, and they didn’t feel nearly as underpowered as the BRZ somehow does.

Speaking as a dirty liberal, I always thought he was shifty motherfucker, and was profoundly disappointed how few people seemed to care.
Man those angry frenchies are gonna flip when they hear about illuminated manuscripts.
They are a miracle for a bad back. I’ll even run them in summer to make my spine happy, especially on a long drive.
