I think the only thing I chose was the boot loader so it would self boot without the CD. I also did the res tweak from the article to get it to full screen. I since deleted the VM because I really had no use for it.

I used the iboot CD to boot up in VB and then chose the usb stick. I did make the stick using unibeast on 10.6.8 (VB) if that is any consequence. Then I ran the setup as usual.

I have actually installed ML in virtualbox using the vanilla installer from the apple store.

Just buy dowels you know you have bits for. They come in very standard sizes.

With decent web mail (gmail) clients are pretty dead. We still use Outlook at the office, but that's a corporate thing.
