I've had vinyl which is easy, not much maintenance. My parents have brick now but in an old house they had cedar/wood shingles. I don't remember it leaking but when my dad went to paint it, it was a major major job.

I would ask a pro on this one. Most load bearing walls have steel beams with heavy posts holding up the beams. Sometimes you can take out what's between the posts but I would still get someone to check it out.

Buy some plans and follow them. also, make sure you do or don't need a permit. Once you have plans, it shouldn't be hard to do. Just might need more than just you to hold things up while you attach beams and such.

They make special rollers for this. Any home improvement store should have them.

Valspar by far is the best paint I have ever used.

I still do it this way. The cloud is unreliable while moving in a car.

I use WMP to sync my music to the android phone. I use the android app Beyondpod to listen to and manage podcasts. It also remembers where you left off, unlike the apps above. So far it's working nice and no more itunes.

I want an all new old syndicate, but i guess this will do for now.
