the best fight in Furious 7 was The Rock vs Jason Statham - specifically, that point where he drove him through a glass coffee table.

"There is no reasonable standard under which Gotham is a better show that AoS" - does AoS have Donal Logue?

i always hate that rule - he obviously knew the right answer. What? You think maybe he meant that OTHER "Shehehrezade" piece of classical music? There's so many! :/

Dan Bakkedahl had a similar story on…i think it was Greg Fitzsimmons's podcast. Basically, Bakkedahl thought he was hired to be a funny comedian, by a funny comedian, and was put off by Stewart's aloofness. Stewart is obviously a Boss - and his collegiate pedigree (William & Mary) shines through in such situations.

they tone it down in future episodes. check out Ep #2 (Lawnmower Dog)

san andreas was a lot of fun, and better than i expected.

you would love Shooter.

he also made Brooklyn's Finest, which, while not fantastic, deserves more than its "what is that?" legacy. And The Equalizer, too, which was fun.

True, Antoine Fuqua has made several "joyless" action films since Training Day, but he also made "Shooter", which is a subversive gem.

according to a long interview i heard Chris McQuarrie give some years back, Bryan Singer has been wanting to make Logan's Run for a long time, it's his "dream project". And he's got some crazy visual/scheme to use for it (i assume for the Carousel sequence).
