That is very cool!
That is very cool!
As soon as you saw the conveyor belt and heard the instructions to put a washer on each bolt, you knew exactly what was coming. Did not disappoint.
as Spooner has been a delight and has been a perfect straight woman this season.
Irregardless, I think people should speak English more good.
Ava getting stuck in an I Love Lucy situation was pretty great. I thought this episode was really solid all around, it handled the issues deftly.
- “most, if not all, of the white volunteers quit in protest” Actually, no, not all. There’s still about a dozen or so white women left (which gets paired down even more when most of the extras disappear 3/4 of the way through) after the big revolt. Two of them, as the others stomp out, actually give each other the…
It belatedly occurs to me that I related strongly to Astra & a lot of this is because she grew up in hell & perhaps my childhood was also not the best
It’s a doggy dog world, man.
The new Star Trek has characters who act like children, ruled by emotions, constantly throwing stupid quips, not addressing issues like professional members of a Federation.
For a while, I struggled to try to finally determine which Trek show was worse, Discovery or Voyager (turns out the real answer is, “Picard!”)
I don’t get these people either. “He had a messy divorce. Jos used language” is really underplaying what happened. No, Joss Whedon is not as bad as the worst people in Hollywood. But that’s a ridiculously low bar.
“you old tasteless fucks”
Just FYI, you might not be able to pick Michael Weatherly out of a lineup, but in 2016 he was DiNozzo, beloved for over a decade on the highest rated network 1 hour drama of all time.
I suppose it’s a reminder there’s a whole other parallel existence sharing my timeline where there are people for whom this hog shit is appointment viewing.
my thoughts exactly. This isn’t Harvey Fucking Weinstein, this is an actor I couldn’t pick out of a lineup, and a show that I was surprised to hear is still on the air. JFC are programming options that slim that CBS has to die on this hill?
It’s vexing to me this show survived the initial shitstorm when this story first broke. Not that any show should survive this but... Bull? We’re not talking about prestige television, or a show that’s been around that long, or a legendary actor... CBS is willing to take the heat for Bull?
I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the first season (only halfway through) and how well-written it is (especially considering that the episodes are not short). Performances are great, and I love that Sacha Dhawan is keeping it lowkey after his regrettable performance as the Master. Phoebe Fox in particular…
It is billed as “an occasionally true story,” indeed. But more seriously, I am no longer certain that time is a thing, because I happened to catch Super 8 on cable the other day and Elle Fanning is in that. Clearly she is still a child and not a grown-up person at all, because the alternative — I am old and getting…
Fantastic! I loved Season 1, and am thrilled that this is back. Wildly inaccurate, but wildly entertaining.
Were you under the impression this was some sort of documentary?
