I have not played this game, but from the description, the new update makes it sound like original Star Wars Galaxies (pre-Jedi). Is this at all accurate? I haven’t played an MMO for many years but this intrigues me.

What channel was it on in Canada? I never saw it myself either, but I only got two channels growing up where I did. Under the Umbrella Tree, Mr. Dressup and Sesame Street were my go-tos for non-cartoon fare.

My mom is in the same boat- she has always disliked Matt Damon and the other day I tried to break down the ‘why’ of it. We settled on his School Ties character as the inciting incident.

The nail in the coffin for me was Discovery World which was like the old Discovery Channel, full of nature documentaries and archaeology. The turned it into something called Discovery Velocity, which focused on car culture. This was in Canada so it might not have been the same channel in the US. Thankfully there is

Here here! I watch Bachelor/ette shows mostly to have something to share with my mom, but I thoroughly enjoy the AV Club breakdowns after the fact. Not everything needs to be Breaking Bad.

Thanks! I got it last year but had to take a pandemic break. Looking forward to seeing how it ends.

Yeah, even just with Aunt Lydia’s backstory, the show definitely seems like it’s on a different track than the book (though I haven’t quite finished reading it yet). I don’t know what the writing schedule was like for the show but the Testaments has only been out since late 2019 IIRC. Seems like a stretch that they

Hello fellow white Canadian lady! I’m just here to add that never in my life has someone touched my hair unless it was my brother trying to pull it when I was a kid or I was paying/asking someone to make it pretty. It’s really weird to me that black people have to deal with randos grabbing at their head.

I went to Disneyworld in 11th grade with the Children’s Wish Foundation. I wanted to see the Kennedy Space Center and a shuttle launch, but they had this whole pre-done Florida package because so many kids wanted to go to Disney. It was really a best case scenario (minus the having to get cancer first) as I got to

I feel like most of the CW DC shows I have watched this year have been pretty static cinematography-wise. It makes me wonder if this is something related to Covid protocols. Lots of shot-of-character cut to shot-of-other-character, with very few shots of more than 2 people on screen at once (more with Flash than

I bought a 360, Mass Effect and Halo 3 on the same day. Some of the best money I ever spent. Went on Xbox Live with some guy friends of mine- we all set up in the same living room and brought our own TVs and consoles. When someone on other team started harassing me because of my ‘girl voice’ (lol), the whole lot of

I have a similar progression; I went NES-SNES-N64-no money, no console- xbox360-xbox1. I could never get the hang of ps controllers, though I did briefly own a ps3.

I’m working from home so I took an extended coffee break and watched it. No spoilers but it is So Good.

That would be ‘Untamed Heart’, also starring Marisa Tomei and Rosie Perez. Was definitely obsessed with that movie as a tween.

There was a line from Wen about Titan being self-sufficient after the Burn until an explosion wiped out part of the settlement and that was when they lost communications.

It was appointment TV for me- the humour is a perfect balance of mockery and love. The tongue-in-cheek shoutout to Archer and the Enterprise in the finale was the cherry on top.

I might be missing a joke, but isn’t he also playing the Hulk though? Especially when he’s ‘Smart Hulk’ which is kind of a combo situation. Motion capture acting is still acting (See Andy Serkis in ... most of his roles).

I absolutely love games, but I am in the same boat. My ADHD makes it hard to play for a short sitting when the hyper focus kicks in (those dopamine hits get more effective with every console generation). I am currently reading “The North-West is My Mother” by Jean Teillet about the history of the Métis Nation and I am

I just hope Queen Latifah shows up.

Hear- hear! I have demi inclinations but I live in a rather conservative area so I just tell people I’m ‘old fashioned’, but I have also occasionally been attracted to the same sex so I like your conclusion very much. I wish I had Genderbread person when trying to explain about my trans roommate to my mom (she’s not a
