That would have been such a weird experience for the other passengers. My grandma was an indigenous person in Canada. I grew up wearing the moose-hide moccasins she made, lined with coyote or rabbit fur. The animals were hunted by my uncles and the meat was kept and eaten and we still hunt for meat every year.
