So, I guess that lady's pregnant?

IIIIIIIIIIIIIT'S THE CIRRRRRRRCLE, THE CIRCLE OF LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE!!

Last active player to wear #42 every day.

I never rooted for the Yankees, and my greatest Yankees moment is when my Diamondbacks beat Mr. Rivera in the 2001 World Series. I still have no idea how that happened.

Now that the Yanks are done for 2013, here's hoping Donnie finally gets his ring.

We've been spoiled. As a kid is was bad....Steve Sax, Steve "Don't trip over the white line" Howe, Danny Tartabull, Roger McDowell, hell even Jim Abbott. The one constant was Don Mattingly. My all time hero. The ALDS against the Mariners broke my heart, then he retired, then the Yankees win the World Series the next

"Mary-Ann-O! Mary-Ann-O!"

I doubt the human race will ever see another example of such a dominant yet humble power.

C.J. Ross votes no

I've been a Yankee fan my entire life, and for the last 18 years there's been one constant: Mariano Rivera.

I doubt the human race will ever see another example of such a dominant yet humble power. Mariano Rivera is and will always be the greatest shut down man of all time.

My Yankees hatred is truly deep-seeded and probably chromosomal, but I cannot deny how sad of a day this is for baseball. We could only be so lucky to ever witness somebody as gifted and dominant as him take the mound again.

Hey now, remember those pieces of shit are only "standing guard for the game!" What qualifies those sniveling weasels to do it? Well that beats the shit out of me. It should've been taken away from the BBWA long ago

Can't wait to see which asshole sportswriters don't vote for him in his first year of eligibility for the HOF

Well if Mariano cried then I have no problem admitting I totally lost my shit.

I'm obligated to hate the Yankees but damn that was awesome

Very cool moment. Not a fan of the Yankees by any stretch of the imagination, but watching Jeter, Pettitte, & Rivera interact there gave me chills.

Oh no. Their portrayal of Juarez wasn't accurate. That must mean the show is terrible because I only watch tv shows that are realistic.
