Very true. Where I live, police officers are expected to use their guns as a last resort only, and have to write a detailed report to explain their rationale for each bullet fired.

They won’t release it as a free download, this is EA we’re talking about here. While it’s nice of them to do this, their willingness to let go of profit only goes so far.

Hmm. I understand why they released the game early, but I feel like they should be more transparent about the state of the game and future updates to it. While the game is really good, it’s being held back because of things that have come to be landmarks of the series, and their absence is really not a good look.

While the doxxing and harassment is completely inexcusable and abhorrent, my own visits to the subreddit didn’t show the vast majority of users as whining man-children, but rather just genuine fans concerned about the game in comparison to previous titles and wanting it to be the best game it can be.
