@krispyfresh: Yeah if it is edge grain and 1.5+" thick.

i really like the Nike+ concept, but I have never liked having to strap my phone on... I wish that they could make this functionality work with a shuffle or nano...

@Zeidust: Canada doesnt have trappist ales, as there are no trappist monasteries there... People do call them that but the monks may not appreciate it. I believe that the only trappist beer outside of Belgium comes from the Netherlands.

@Nikkoli: you must have not understood my meaning... I was saying that Belgium (according to myself and comprehensive beer lists) has the best beer, and that Germany was far and above more recognized for quality beer than the UK.

@rickster999: You probably have no idea what ale means... I cant say that I know what you mean by "Real Ale."

@rickster999: HA! I dont remember ever reading ANYWHERE that the UK has the best most flavorful beer. Belgium has it hands down- and the UK isnt even close to Germany.

@JakeMG: Ω Man: Agreed. I hate the people that try to convince me that PBR is somehow good (even for an American lager its piss water).

Im still trying to figure out how it holds meat at a certain temperature...

@im2fools: The pictures I have seen show a pocket with beer inside. Of course I dont think you can patent a cooking method anyway, unless you patent the hardware.

@DaveExile: I think that in this case a lot of it would re-condense and remain in the beer, because I am guessing that there isnt a vent hole in the pastry (for obvious reasons).

Not really sure why it is "huge" sure doesnt look that big to me. I also dont think that the size will be a factor in its success or failure (unless it really was huge)... it will be far more dependent on content. I have my doubts but I still want to reserve my judgement until I get to play with one.

@skipjack002: The fact that you say that the only good beer you have had comes from Texas negates the rest of your argument.

@straight6: Why is it that you Germans think you have the best beer? All authoritative lists have Belgian trappist beers at the top of their list. I agree with them.

@Zazu_Yen: ? Are you only drinking PAs and IPAs? Maybe all of your friends are hop-heads?

@BeanBone: Agreed. Thankfully my state just recently changed our beer laws raising the cap from 6.5% to 13%, which keeps me from driving to neighboring states. Unfortunately we still cant get containers over 16.5 oz. so no 750ml or Rogue bombers.

@albiondm: You would be suprised. While the styles may not have originated here there are a lot of really good craft/small batch brewers that make beer that can compete with the best Belgian and German beers.

@pliSkiNAKE: dark German beer? If you do not know the style then clearly you have not had enough styles to have really made that decision.

@CrispyAardvark: Thats not stone- look at the inside and its coated brown glass... Also if you like that there are plenty of better alternatives in that style, though delirium is good (just not great).
