@DaCapin: Part of the problem with specs is that some companies who tout specs (esp. tv manufacturers) create specs that mean practically nothing and are just there as a crazy marketing scheme to make their product seem better to consumers.

@antpwny: Yeah 150 is right at what they appear to be selling for on eBay so it would make sense... I still think that I may hold onto mine since it may not be worth the trouble and I can probably repurpose it.

Wow Jesus for once I am in total agreement with you.

I really hope that this person is just trying to garner media attention, I mean that would be stupid bit it would at least make a little bit of sense.

@Ellomdian: What trade-in? I know that GS is only giving $80 for used Elites and for that I would rather keep it and set it up as a Media Center (or hell keep it for a DVD player, preferably in place that I cant hear it).

@headc4se: I would agree and I think that that may be why WalMart and others mount their systems in such a ridiculously awkward way (I remember going there to check out MotorStorm when the PS3 was new). I couldnt even play for more than about 60 seconds and then I gave up before I even got to play mainly because the

@king_saberhawk: I am in complete agreement... One of my friends mounted his tv above the mantle of his fireplace and it annoys the piss out of me (and causes neck pain after sitting through entire football games/movies/ game sessions).

@ootg: Wow really? Either you didnt read the post correctly or your post is ill-informed.

@xonegon: what about the colored iMacs? That is relatively recent past, do you think that that design still holds water?

@EnemaBagJones: Shouldnt you be bagging on Sony? This is the first time MS has really done a product refresh, whereas Sony has been doing it since the Playstation (i.e. PSOne).

@James Marino: Wow that is a long post, and I read all of it, and I am still not sure if you are trying to make a point...

@Sesheron: Its only $150, and that includes a number of things, one of which I am pretty sure is not voice recognition.

The Kinect + game appears to be nothing more than the Kinect and whatever would come with it normally. I didnt see any mention of a freebie on the GS website.

@lolcopter: If you read the letter you would know that it was not incompetence but merely excitement about the new products that AT&T has to offer. AT&T infrastructure can only handle so much uncontrolled jubilation at a given time.

@Ccomfo1: Ill keep you updated as to whether or not they send me a check, and/or a video of the CEO engaging in self-flagellation.

@Ccomfo1: Actually yes... that or just give me $1M.

@Ccomfo1: Actually yes... that or just give me $1M.

Perhaps they will unveil the Wii Respirator at E3, or some other hospital equipment? A defibrillator would be awesome, but you will definately need a powered USB port.
