I am in a very similar situation. One year old and four year old, husband and I both working at home. We could survive on his salary but not on mine. We made the decision early on that if one of us has to let their job responsibilities slide, it’s me. I try to work as much as I can during the day, but I have to take a

I much prefer Goodnight Goon, which is a funny monster parody. I think it flows a lot better than Goodnight Moon, and my kid loves it.

I wonder what Emma Watson thinks of 3 of her costars getting nominations. She was cited as the worst part of the movie in multiple reviews that I read.

I would totally wear that jacket if it didn’t likely cost more than my entire wardrobe.

A friend worked at custom t-shirt type business. He found some kind of crazy lizard in a shipment of hats. He tried to keep the thing as a pet, but it died after a week or so.

She sampled a clip from one of the episodes on her album

I’ve listened to Kevin Nealon on podcasts and he has a very healthy lifestyle - I believe he’s been vegan for a long time. Norm strikes as someone who would never get Botox etc, where I could def see Dennis Miller doing so.

My friend has a balloon story very similar to the one here.... Her boyfriend bought her a mylar balloon for her 21st birthday. She and I were sitting on the couch when were heard a slow, scraping sound. The balloon was dragging along the ceiling, out of her bedroom, down a hallway, and into the room were were in, only

I have a poodle / Australian Shepard mix. My husband has mild dog allergies (mostly large, long haired ones like golden retrievers) and I thought I’d never have a dog. I was at an art festival and happened to talk past someone with a sign in the yard for these puppies. She was the cutest little fluff ball and I had to

Fascinating! As far as identical twins go, I think they are fairly easy to tell apart. Like you mentioned, Drew’s face is slimmer, especially around his jawline.

His libraries are beautiful. I work near one, and the detail in the architecture is incredible.

35 (!) is considered a geriatric pregnancy. I had my second at 34, and my midwife high-fived me for missing that window by a few months. You are labeled a high-risk pregnancy, and at least for me it would have meant an additional test or two and maybe an extra ultrasound.

Not at all. I live 40 minutes from Pittsburgh, and my property taxes are $1,100 a year for a 2,000 sq ft house on 2 acres.

The Conjuring (3 movies), Annabelle (3 movies) and The Nun (a spin off of one of the Conjuring movies). I think the connection is the Warrens?

I went to a fascinating/terrifying talk by a man that had created an app (I don’t remember which one, but it wasn’t one of the big ones) and he talked about some of the ways advertisers are tracking you. The example he gave was that LEGO would have some sort of device in the LEGO aisle of Target, and if you walk by it,

You may enjoy this podcast, which discusses each episode for an hour or so

Same! It’s kind of blowing my mind.

Daniel Tiger is pretty great for social-emotional learning, especially when compared to other kids shows. My son was briefly obsessed with Curious George, and that show is basically about a monkey that ignores what everyone tells him, fucks up repeatedly, yet it all works out in the end.

Love you style!

I lust after the Kate Spade typwriter bag, which never seems to sell for less than $500 used.
