Not only are you right, but the LW is so misogynistic that she actually thinks those topics are all other women talk about.

If that was a burn, it didn't work. Their internships were in Chicago and New York. They live in a major city—very major. It's just not New York.
The world isn't Wall Street. Granted, they don't live in NYC, but in another very major city known for finance.
I am the mother of a daughter who is, by every standard, fantastically successful at a very young age (under 30). The same is true of her husband.
Both had extremely mundane jobs on their resumes when they graduated from college (although they had some great internships as well). My SIL mowed lawns most summers. My kid…
She hosted some flash design show on Bravo or something. She's supposed to happen in the US, but never will.
That's what I mean. For example, Flush Rush is really working. Why is Hobby Lobby not getting hurt more?
I haven't shopped there for years. Other commenters GET that I meant a large, organized effort.
I have tried looking for a boycott effort for Hobby Lobby. Is there one that is currently active?
Newsflash for 20-somethings: Back in the day, which so many of you believe was a wonderland of ease and cash, young college graduates lived paycheck to paycheck. We assumed that was normal, because it was.
It's just another pathetic attempt to make the conversation about the US. The way Gawker commenters use hating the US as a way to establish their alleged sophistication is predictable and sad. It's also just ugly, because it turns the focus off of where it belongs.

You remark suggests a really jaded attitude toward young people. No, I really, really don't think most of them watch had core porn at 12. Some naked lady pictures? Sure. Hard core porn? Yech. And wrong.
How's the continental sensibility toward violence?
Thanks!
Did I miss something? Because I don't know what either of those mean. Is it some reference to a blow job?
The following is an observation and not advice or a suggestion:
This shit is one of the many reasons I got married early. Dating culture has never not been toxic. It's astonishing to me that people think it's fun.
She write the following, so I suspect she's a lost cause:
So, you are suggesting that the aren't enough fat women with money who care about fashion to make a market for the costs of making these differently designed clothes?
I am very closely related to people in fashion retail. There is deeply rooted prejudice among designers about women over a size eight. They know very well that the market for designer clothes for bigger women is out there. They don't want to design for women with sizes in the double digits.
