That, or so lifted and Botoxed, she looks permanently whacked out. Well, she is permanently whacked out. And stupid.

I'm a middle aged post menopausal woman. I love being "INVISIBLE." I am treated with respect. I am sought out for opinions, because people assume, now, that my opinions have value now that I am no longer in the "hot" category.
I am old enough to remember when he was a marginally well known rock star. He was always considered a pig, even by the terrible rock n roll behavioral standards of the '70s.
Crop tops and high waited jeans can make you look amazingly slim AND curvy. But no trend suits every body type. I've been hating low rise for 20 years.
Tunic will never go away for me. The freedom of the post menopausal woman cannot be overstated.
I am short waisted and big butted. High waited jeans always have looked great on me. The key is, you must have the heart-shaped ass.
Clown hatred is not new. My mom is super old and one of her earliest memories is of a terrifying clown.
Feminist hero? She's wooden, amoral, manipulative, and icy. None of those things makes her a bad feminist (although they do make her a bad person), but what does make her anti-feminist is her willingness to trade legislation to get what she wants for her husband.
This is really old stuff. I have taught college students who try the same "methods." We like an occasional snow day.
I work with disabled vets, among other people of the working classes. I suspect their parents didn't meet the perfect criteria of readiness for parenthood. They are often surprised parents themselves . Yet, they work, plan and dream for their children. And they do surprisingly well.
By your logic, my husband and I should not have had our daughter.
Hhhmmm. My husband and I both have advanced degrees. We paid our kid's way through college without loans for anyone.
We've enjoyed being parents and our daughter is a happy, successful person , in every sense of the word.
And we had $20 in the bank when we…
It's fun to be over 50. I think I look pretty good. My advice?
Don't be too thin. It makes your face look older and your hands all ropey and veiny.
You manage. Of course, I realize some people don't want kids. I completely get that.
But we were told it would take $250,000 to raise a kid 30 years ago. That was huge money back then. Actually, it took way more! But we managed.
I didn't care. My husband wanted a daughter because he never liked his brothers. His dad also wanted a girl, because he only had sons and was sick of them. So they were so glad when our daughter arrived.
I can't help you, I'm afraid. :(
But I can tell you this: Crazy, whacky, worries and fears and ideas are very, very…
I was not supposing that the people who have the time, devices, and, generally speaking, the education, to read Jezebel fall into the dire circumstances you outline. Just as you note.
I would not write that to teen high school dropouts.
First, not every millennial has massive debt or is unemployed. Or under employed. But having kids has been made out to be the worst possible choice for millennials. Period.
Have you thought the implications of this fear through the next 50 years? Not all
millennial are incredibly young. The first wave is above 30.
Childre…
I understand this will seem like crazy, idiotic advice, but just have them. IF you want them. You actually can overthink becoming a parent.
It ain't that hard. Pop culture really does make it seem worse than it is. Especially people who comment on the internet.
I wasn't glowing or radiant. I had pregnancy acne, peed my pants a lot, and was scared shitless.
Also, I did not fall in love with my daughter the first time she was in my arms. I felt scared. But, over time, the transcendent, deep, overwhelming love came.
I read far more anti child comments than I read pro kids comments.
Our daughter was a total surprise. We were utterly unready. She was, unequivocally, the greatest thing that ever happened to both me and my husband.
