Does United not have a single PR person? Someone, anyone who could put some platitudes on cue cards and shove this guy in front of the camera? One of the cops is already being investigated, how hard would it be for United to do the whole “we are deeply disturbed by the incident and will look into it” song and dance?…
Also... they could have kept offering more money. I’ve been on flights where they keep upping the amount of money they’re offering. So... keep going until someone takes it. Not rocket science?
United’s response to this has just been awful. Amazing that they’re still just sending the “please contact law enforcement” bullshit deflection response to requests for comment. They are currently being crucified in the court of public opinion across the internet. Reddit’s ready to burn their corporate headquarters…
I have normal hearing but like to watch things with captions on in case the dialogue gets hard to follow.
