I got my dream job. Literally my dream job. I start in May. I am freaking out. I now have to quit my job and move and start this huge new process but I’m so fucking thrilled and I can’t believe it. Holy shit. It’s not quite official but I’m waiting for my contract to be sent to me (Tuesday) before I announce it but…
I would have loved it too (I was one of those folks oohing and ahhing over this photo on social media) but racists would have gone even more nuts than they already did. She already got called an ape, monkey, angry black woman, the n-word ... And those of us with natural hair have to contend with folks who don’t think…
What infuriates me is that what she learned from all of this is that she thinks she shouldn’t have voted at all. Really? With hindsight, you don’t wish you had exercised your right to vote for someone whose administration probably wouldn’t have ended up encouraging the type of ICE deportations that resulted in tearing…

Where I live, an evening guest would be the best possible type of invitation, as you don’t have to attend the actual ceremony and just show up for the drinks, food and dancing. Score!
To me that seems like the best kind of gift to give someone on their wedding day? We’re all adults, we can buy our own stuff. What’s nicer than giving someone a great holiday?
What about Frank and his Roosters everywhere. Every room he did looked like the lobby of a Cracker Barrell....but I liked Laurie she had some good rooms
Oh God. A Baby Story was a source of pre-sex ed horror for grade school me. To be honest, it may be why I’m on the fence about having kids now as a grown adult.
