Apparently, this ad was created by Pepsi’s in-house “content creation arm,” because Wieden+Kennedy or BBDO or a real ad agency wouldn’t be so fucking busy navel gazing that they’d let this one past the goalposts.
It feels like everyone that is leaving New York is moving to Colorado so we get a lot of East Coast people moving here and telling us all the reasons they are SO glad they moved here, NY is terrible etc.
I can only wish for such arrogance.
My hypothesis is that studios know they aren’t popular stories in the western world but believe that having a big name actor/actress to carry it will sufficiently drive non-anime fans to the box office. They also don’t have to come up with new material or find something western to remake that hasn’t been done yet

Where I live, an evening guest would be the best possible type of invitation, as you don’t have to attend the actual ceremony and just show up for the drinks, food and dancing. Score!
To me that seems like the best kind of gift to give someone on their wedding day? We’re all adults, we can buy our own stuff. What’s nicer than giving someone a great holiday?
