No. Not even close.
As a kid in the 90s, I used to get the UK/fleetway comics when they first came out, but I stopped reading them shortly after they adopted the Robotnik design from the US cartoon, which I absolutely hated because it didn’t resemble the Robotnik/Eggman sprite from the actual games (by which I mean Sonic 1/2/3&K, not…
Maybe no areas in your country are suitable. Here, most places away from busy roads are fine for cats, because there are no predators and any wildlife vulnerable to cats was wiped out centuries ago.
I’ve never smoked, and been teetotal since my mid 20s, but I’m absolutely opposed to all forms of prohibition. Banning substances does nothing to prevent people from acquiring and using those substances, and only creates a market for criminals. Also, there is no better way to make kids want to do something than to…
Keeping cats indoors seems to be an American thing (like keeping dogs outdoors). Here in the UK almost all cats are let outside, and declawing is illegal (as it should be, along with cosmetic ear cropping and tail docking of dogs).
I’m 35, but I don’t remember 9/11 - I didn’t even find out about it until a day later (I was camping at the time).
Apparently, 510 years is the average age of Fox News viewers.
I wonder what percentage of Americans are actually descended from the original population of the US at the time of the revolution. I’d bet a fair number are actually descended from people who fought against American Independence and then went back to Britain, only for their descendents to come creeping back over and…
Right. Here in the UK, even the terrorists have to resort to knives because they can’t get their hands on any guns.
“Ah may be a simple country hyperchicken, but ah know when we’re finger-licked.”
What old days?
It’s not a valid point. It’s an incredibly silly point. This attack had nothing to do with conservative poll numbers. The election is not even going to be close. Do you seriously think a guy blew himself up because he thought that maybe the Tory landslide wasn’t going to be quite spectacular enough? He was…
You do live somewhere where many random attacks take place. The US has had far and away more attacks than the UK in recent years. The UK has had hardly any.
The force isn’t a religion, but the jedi order is. They even live in a temple.
I have to disagree on the spacing issue. Conserving vertical space is not in the least important, and the code style with opening brackets at the end of lines is ugly as hell. It’s utterly, utterly hideous. No code can be beautiful that uses it.
There’s nothing like Spanish football commentary to make you realise that maybe 0-0 draws aren’t so bad after all.
