Super Mulholland Drive, for sure.
Super Mulholland Drive, for sure.
Ha, I live up Fairfax from Canter's, and from what I can tell from my regular visits, nothing has changed in 50 years at least.
I def have a friend who says she can't watch for that reason. I can't wait to ask her how she felt about last night's Twin Peaks!
But do you get mad when people call you Dougie?
It took her that long to poop?
Seriously, I was surprised anybody thought it would be anything more than a gag. I loved it.
I def noticed that.
I'm loving it. I really look forward to sitting down and watching these with my boyfriend on Sundays (and going into work to discuss it on Mondays).
Same… It's fun having all my TP fans to discuss the show with every week. I feel like the Netflix delivery system is kind of annoying. If you don't like waiting each week, you can wait until it's over to binge em all.
Yeah, found that to be pretty weird… Can't imagine Lynch showing a nagging husband archetype. Esp. two in one ep.
My boyfriend said, "No way would she get together with that dude in real life. NO WAY." It really is a creepy coupling. I told him it's obviously the drugs.
Right? Does anyone ENJOY the taste of vodka?
Some Like It Hot is def in my top five. Along with Withnail & I. And The Freshman (Harold Lloyd).
Agreed. I'm a woman, I consider myself a feminist, and I love the idea of a Ghostbusters reboot starring women. I just thought the script/direction/editing/plotting/etc. was all wrong. Not the fault of the stars, who I find very funny.
Seriously, I'm so bored/annoyed with this. I can't think of a single solid American comedy from the last five years. Hell, even 10 years. I can't stand Apatowian shit.
This is exactly it… No script, just straight mugging and moving from cameo A to cameo B. A ton of fan service, which felt esp. weird given that it's the first time we're meeting these characters.
Oh my god, I cringed so hard when I saw the trailer. Do test audiences really eat stuff like that up? Fucking dumb/offensive, and not in a good way.
Yeah, yuck… I hate that term. (Although I gotta say it sounds esp. bad coming from a old-ish rich white man.)
Yeah, it felt pandery and fan service-y in a way that seemed off for a series reboot.
Yes. And I'm no HUGE fan of the original, but I don't see how the new one wasn't objectively worse.
