It's REALLY really good. Just saw it at Fantastic Fest a few weeks ago. Also, "Green Room."
Were there CancerAids and Firsties?
I kind of know what he means, although I have no interest in seeing his films. Maybe Twitter activism is working, but something about reducing social movements down to hashtags that clueless people retweet or repost on Tumblr and forget about just feels sad to me. (And I'm not saying that's EVERYONE who…
Yeah, ugh, I hate Taco SO much. That character is fucking annoying and stupid, but the show treats him like he's comedy gold.
But like… How did he come up with such ridiculous BS in the first place? That's what I want to know. He and Brian Williams should do a TV show together.
Plus there's the fact that he only "came clean" because the NYT found him out and was going to expose him. He never would have come forward with this admission on his own.
I'm fucked up… When I was in middle school, I convinced my friends I knew sign language. But I was really just doing crazy random hand signals.
I used to tell the creeps that would hit on me that I was 15 (when I was 21 or 22). I thought that would creep THEM out, but it made them creep on me even harder.
Was it right when the plane hit the tower? Or did you pull him out of the rubble?
I agree, I was watching this and felt it was HEINOUS. Not nearly as funny as the other eps have been lately. And lots of off-putting elements I did not enjoy.
Yup. This felt SO low-budget… There were none of those aerial vista shots, and the cinematography felt so flat and dull.
I expected a lot more from "Bone Tomahawk." I am by no means someone who hates a slowly paced movie, but this was poorly edited, way too long, tonally all over the place… poorly directed. Lots of things that just felt really off about it. Some cool sequences and a few good lines, but even the humor felt a bit forced…
His essays are great, but I couldn't finish "Infinite Jest."
Yeah, at this point, his persona is so gross and off-putting to me that I have no way to be objective about his music.
Agreed. I actually felt that way when I tried to get into his music listening to certain albums, but once I went back and listened to the less-gravelly stuff, I was hooked. And now I like it all.
I thought it was because he thought Mindy was Pakistani?
They def were.
Same. Star Wars merch has been widely available everywhere for as long as I can remember. I don't get the appeal. (I mean, I like "Star Wars," at least the original three films, but I guess I'm not into collecting action figures.)
This movie is SO FUCKING TERRIBLE. Actors are annoying, script is unfunny, jokes are vaguely (and not so vaguely) sexist, plot is uninteresting, vampires are involved.
