I think they were supposed to be, but the show has been bad at proving it. Reminds me of the female friend they gave Mindy on "The Mindy Project" who they scrapped after a season because they weren't doing anything interesting with her.

I'm with you on that. I feel lucky I found out about "Love and Rockets" in high school. From there, it's been a delight learning about Clowes, Ware, Satrapi, etc. etc. etc.
I agree with this. I really like all the actors, but the characters aren't that interesting so far. We don't know much about them outside of the police work/zombie attack. That's fine for shows like "Law & Order," but not a show that wants to be like "Buffy" or "Veronica Mars."
Haha, I guess I just thought he was so attractive that I didn't want to see him leave. Also, it's too boring for her to decide to get back together with Major. I don't really want to see that story play out.
I feel like I want a "Buffy"-style ending, where the endgame doesn't have to be her choosing between Spike/Angel, but instead decides she isn't finished "baking" yet. That really was a smart and underutilized ending. (Even though I was totally on Spike's side.)
Yeah, that's so weird to me. Who is the audience for "Pitch Perfect"?
No neckbeards? WHAT IS THIS MOVIE?
OK, now I'm sold!
I loved "Pacific Rim." Not quite as much as this film, but it was pretty fucking fun.
…from an action movie that's part of the "Mad Max" series? I guess I'm confused what you were expecting. This movie delivered everything I was looking for from an action movie, and then some.
I was just glad it didn't end with Max and Furiosa making out or something corny. I agree, I liked that it was an all-in-the-moment film.
Ohmygoodness… he really is pretty. I never really was into Tom Hardy before, but he looks so good with that stubble and blood and dirt.
Yeah, people are annoying me like that. I feel like because it's not sexist (like most action films are), that it must be feminist. I mean, it does have some feminist ideas, but it's so much more than that.
The theater I was in was definitely sold out tonight. As it should be. Didn't get why more people weren't clapping and hollering at the end, though.
Yeah, that shit was pretty silly. Thought the movie was great, but that this part was poorly done.
Given how much praise this got (and how fucking cool the trailer looked), I was afraid it would be like "Inception" (where I was sitting in the theater yawning and trying to figure out why my asshole friends thought it was "so trippy")… but it was not. This was so cool.
I thought about that when he was giving her his blood! I loved that the movie established that from the beginning.
Am I the only one who really liked Spike and Buffy?
I love X and Gun Club, but both of those bands are more punk/rockabilly than psychobilly.
I dunno, I saw it and that was my honest reaction to it. I feel like this film really divides people by gender, in term of their response to it.
