Me either. But only if she brings that backpack full of moolah.

Yeah, this sounds like THE WORST to me. Not a big fan of musical theater, and there's something about Anna Kendrick I find to be super grating.
I'm rooting for them, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. Renew this now, HBO!
So big the audience can't handle it!
Wow. Love this show, and loved this episode. Blew me away. I wanted to turn it off when Patrick was about to tell Richie the truth about the end of their relationship, but I couldn't look away. Ouch. No one telling stories like this, and the production value really goes above and beyond every week.
I get what you mean. I just thought Patrick and Richie had a deeper connection that was more healthy than the Patrick/Kevin dynamic. (That episode where Richie and Patrick spent time walking and talking around SF really is what made me invested in their relationship.)
Definitely going to Psych Fest. (I mean, I already was, but this is making me look forward to it even more.)
I kind of disagree, but I see your point. I think Richie's clearly not this "perfect person" people have been describing, but I'd much rather date someone like him than someone like Patrick. Or, god forbid, Kevin. (But like I've said elsewhere, I don't think Kevin's cute… I think some people are blinded by Russell…
Love Neil Young, love old-school country and I love alt-country, but somehow never got around to this guy or guys like him. I will check out "Copperhead Road" today.
His interview with Marc Maron was great. He was talking about how much he loves comedy.
It really is. The only time I see some of it is visiting my parents. They like terrible TV, and the fact that they cackle every time they watch it just reminds me how unfunny it is now.
Would have liked more examples of people who didn't work for each category… There are definitely plenty of people who aren't game! (There were a few mentioned in the reading section.)
They're dead on about the ending of "Blue Is the Warmest Color." I love gay stuff, I love comics and I thought I'd love reading the graphic novel, but it was kind of the worst, especially the end. I had heard so much acclaim for it, and I hadn't seen the movie, so I didn't know what to expect. It made a lot more sense…
Haha, mine would definitely say the Replacements. And maybe the Clash, but I probably wouldn't date anyone who didn't already love the Clash. Oh, and probably certain comic book artists.
I love Nada Surf, and it kind of reminds me of the melancholy I felt the first few months I moved to a new city and didn't have any friends. I'd drive around listening to their albums while the sun was going down, and it sort of made me feel more alone but somehow OK. Kinda feels weird to listen to those albums now.
Thurston + Kim… I still love Sonic Youth, but I haven't really felt like keeping up with Thurston's new projects. Team Ranaldo.
I'm glad my boyfriend hates Ryan Adams/alt-country. That's one genre we do not agree on. So I'd still have that. But listening to Ryan Adams after a breakup sounds like a recipe for my suicide, anyway. So maybe if it ever happens, I'll skip ahead to something else.
What? Someone LIKED the terrible finale? Ugh.
My boyfriend and I watch a lot of TV together. We can't break up, because I don't want "The X-Files," "The Mighty Boosh," "Twin Peaks," etc., to be ruined.
My boyfriend and I pretty much are into many of the same things, pop culture-wise, so I can imagine that many things would be (at least temporarily) ruined, were we to split after 7 years together. "Twin Peaks," "The X-Files," Sonic Youth, the Blasters, Terror Tuesdays at the Drafthouse, Harvey Pekar, Charles…
