She was originally cast as Jenna on "30 Rock," before the producers decided she wasn't the right fit… So yeah, pretty much.

A crossover between the two would be amazing. Mulder and Scully arrive in Twin Peaks after they hear something weird had been going on.

I agree — I like "Hannibal" a lot, but I don't understand how anyone could say it's better than "Twin Peaks."

I used to be a big fan, but I admit I haven't seen anything of his since "Boston Legal," and I don't think that show looks like something I could get into.

Same — didn't HBO air its programming last Super Bowl Sunday?

Since I started collecting a few years back, I've tried hard to stay away from re-releases… Better quality and better re-sale value with originals.

I wish I had started back then. Unfortunately, I was born in 1988, so I didn't really have a chance. I did inherit my dad's vinyl collection after he decided he only wanted CDs, so I had a good starting set when I started building my own collection in college (about 8 years ago). Been more serious about adding to it

I don't buy (new) CDs anymore because there's zero resale value. When I go to thrift stores, they're littered with recent releases from tons of great bands for $1-$2. They never have good records, because people sell them on eBay. (So I end up picking up the $1-$2 CDs for car-listening purposes, and then vinyl for

I miss my old car with its tape deck… My tape collection is no longer of use to me. Probably time to take it to Goodwill. I bought pretty much all of them in the early 2000s at a great thrift store in my college town. Pixies, Tom Waits, Buzzcocks… so many good ones.

My alma mater got rid of its football program in the '80s, due to lack of funds/interest. Good soccer school, though.

Agreed… I love sports (basketball and soccer, especially), but I never could get into American football. I think the fact that the players get swapped out for offense and defense always bugged me.

I still buy vinyl, but I'm pretty picky about reissues. Always try and avoid 'em. They do indeed sound shitty.

I was thinking this the other day. I love the shit out of that album — Doug Hopkins was the man. RIP. Wish they would reissue it.

It's annoying, too, because some artists who released good records between 1990 and 2000-something never pressed any vinyl.

I used to work at a newspaper, and every phone call I got was from an elderly person who wanted to know why their favorite comic strip had been axed.

I've noticed it big time at thrift stores — you can get near-new CDs of your favorite bands (really, really good stuff) for $1-$2 now a Goodwill. I remember when I first started hanging out at thrift stores a decade ago, not being able to find much aside from some unwanted albums from the late 80s or early 90s.

Fuck you children, I send telegrams.

Haha, I'm actually surprised that hasn't already been published.

I remember some girls from my middle school talent show dancing a choreographed dance to "All the Small Things" while wearing matching Dickies overalls. WTF, 2001. Glad to say I never got into this band, though I do remember "What's My Age Again" from my sister's NOW compilation.

Oh gawd, I forgot about Good Charlotte. Fuck. My friend annoyed the shit out of me in 10th grade when she went through her Good Charlotte phase. Welcome to the rest of Cameron Diaz's life.
