Hoping we get more of a "Hannibal"-esque (or "Zodiac") vibe from this one, rather than NBC standard fare. I'm glad Duchovny is done with "Californication," and think he is well-suited to this type of role.

Exactly… so much wheel-spinning, so little payoff.

Yeah, I stopped watching around season four or five, I think. Show felt like it was spinning its wheels forever, since it would be another few seasons until the mother's reveal. It was like a mystery we'd never be able to solve, as viewers.

Yeah, that's pretty bad. (I do think the episode is a C at best. These guys need to go back to the office. Show's floundering the last couple of eps.)

Actually, I think we've just seen a bunch of rather terrible episodes. This show used to do crude humor quite well, but it's felt rather aimless the past couple of weeks.

You seriously didn't recognize Fortune Feimster? Also, she was probably the funniest part of this dreadfully stupid episode. I just may give up on this show. Dumb, and not in a funny way. Put 'em back in the office, or cancel this crap. (I really did enjoy it for a time.)

I actually quite like "Border Radio." Guess it's just me, then!

Yep! "The Freshman" is one of my all-time favorites. Lloyd kills it!

Yes… the tuna thing got old, but they were GOLDEN at the community pool.

(Which is to say the reasoning here is mostly flawed, even if I do agree that the song sucks, in the most mediocre way possible.)

I gotta agree about the vocals here. I don't get this song's popularity AT ALL. I guess it's not that I hate the song so much as i don't get other people's aggressive love for it. I can't see any reason to like it — it's SO boring.

It'd be a whole lot better if [he] did.

I could see that. I loved "Post-Modern Prometheus," but feel like it was a lot more fully sketched-out than "Improbable" was.

It totally was a mess. I liked Reynolds' performance A LOT, but the ep felt really, really half-baked to me.

I was interested, but felt like they teased the audience about the "truth" behind her abduction way too many times. (We found her! Oh wait, that's a clone. How about now? No? Another clone?)

The myth-arc episodes are just so much less fun than the MOTW episodes.

I finally caught up on my quest to rewatch the series. I'm super bummed that it's almost over, but loving these reviews/comments. Sad that TV Club Classic is about to be no more?

I feel like from reading their interviews over the years, they weren't the best of friends in the beginning (sensed some animosity, even?), but seem very close now.

Terrible. Unfunny, uneven. I remember liking this show once upon a time. (Last week's episode wasn't great, but it's a masterpiece in comparison.)

I'm from Austin, and can confirm this is a real type here. What about SF? (I haven't been in awhile.)
