DTMFA.

Yeah, they really haven't done a great job w/ Ed Weeks' character (Dr. British Guy).

I don't mind that one or "Who Knew." I'm sort of ashamed, because most of her other stuff is so aggressively meh (or even ew), but I can't totally hate her.

Would pay to watch…

I totally agree… Dexter was super grossed out by the finger in the stew, and he sees blood, guts and beyond on a regular basis.

Those were the days…

I thought she was Warlow's wife, but when he disappeared, she shacked up with blondie?

I was wondering if he was trying to save it in his tub? (Since he probably doesn't know about the unstable properties of it.)

Dexter writers are trying to out-dumb themselves by "revealing" soon in a major "twist" that that British doctor lady is actually a serial killer.

I think so too this time.

Ugh — I was thinking the same thing. He went from ridiculously heroic and often shirtless to ridiculously villainous and often shirtless in the matter of a few episodes.

I think the silver-laced chicken was enough to slow Warlow down, but not necessarily enough to totally overpower him/kill him, since he's only part vampire?

Hall and Carpenter always do good work… unfortunately, they're working with a garbage script every week.

Damn, I can't believing I've been watching this show for eight years. Dexter, please kill me.

I didn't mind season 5 as much as most people… I felt like it was still a more coherent season than anything that's happened since. And Julia Stiles' character was sort of compelling, anyway. Everything since then has been THE WORST.

Dexter/True Blood mashup… the best or the worst of these two mostly awful shows? (Which I still watch because I hate myself, apparently.)

Not to mention bringing his kid along… and leaving him alone in the car…

Ugh, yep! Would have been much more interesting to have set up a conflict between Deb and Dexter in the final season. Maybe even end the series with that final showdown, maybe even end on an ambiguous note. Such a cool idea for a series. Couple of solid seasons (thinking especially of the one with John Lithgow), but

Yeah, for me, I felt like the Julia Stiles season had some good parts, but since then, it's been all downhill.

Pretty much. I genuinely liked seasons 1-5 (or parts of them), but it's been downhill for awhile now. Pretty much since the word "tableau."
