I guess I'm not sure what I said to indicate that my students need to organize against me. I was asking for things I could specifically do or not do as the instructor, not so much how they should be acting on the assumption that I'm making a lot of mistakes.

Oh hell yes. I have been using cash for 2 years now and we actually know where the fuck our money is spent. Those little cards never represent money to me. And if you use cash you get a ton of change, which all goes into the vacation/emergency fund bottle. I love cash!
