Fellow standing pee-er here and I LOVE my bidet.

Now what we need is a site that just reports the numbers. If I share this article, or say to a person “Harvard studied...” they’ll immediately assume bias and dismiss it. If I can point to the numbers directly, it makes the argument/discussion much easier to have.

I sometimes make baked potatoes for the express purpose of having hash browns in the morning.

Very similar for me. Plus, no waiting in the lobby. Call when you arrive, the hygienist comes out to take your temperature and ask the normal (for now) health questions. You get hands sprayed when you go in and you do a thorough mouth wash before a procedure.

What’s the best way to separate out the fantasy of wanting to move “there” from the pros and cons of actually doing it.  Once you do that, find a job first and then start the move process or the other way around?

I don’t think this site requires a login. Really good resource on covid stuff. This link specifically about heat:

I think the government would welcome this. Imagine how much of your privacy they can take away if they just start monitoring everything everywhere. Every time you go by a speed trap, your location is logged (plus, why bother with the “5-ish over)“ thing, if you’re over the limit, you’d get a ticket.

Just commenting here because I don’t know how else to say the new website design stinks.  It presents as a much more complicated looking site now.

My dad had a friend with a chevy van.  It was lifted (not immensely) and 4 wheel drive.  It had shag carpet throughout and a bed in the back.  My 15 year old self wanted it soooo baaaaddddd.

I was thinking along these lines:

Along these lines, I’ve been seeing people walking around with gloves on.  I assume they think this is somehow protecting them.  But then they’re touching their glasses,  keys, door knobs, etc.  Basically everything they’d be touching without the gloves.  But, because they have gloves on, I assume they think they’re

most pizza that I’m aware of (in the US anyway) has a base of tomato sauce, which is “juicy”.

Update for Old Fourth Distillery (Atlanta), from their website:

It hasn’t been quite that bad for us, but VPN performance has definitely been the most noticeable impact. Lots of crappy skype/teams/slack audio problems and we got a request to minimize the use of video in meetings.

Exactly!  I don’t get the point of this (except that most people are stupid).  Also, presumably, you washed your hands before you started eating with them?

ok, probably a good reason for you to not pay for one. :)

For me, it probably boils down to being a bit of a privacy curmudgeon.  I don’t like that Comcast is keeping track of everything I do, all the sites I visit, when, how often, etc.  No, I don’t have anything to hide, but protecting my privacy is different than hiding something.

Wait, you don’t cook your steaks rare? WTF?!! I’m out.

Wow, I’ve never heard of or seen a womens only menu with no prices. As others have commented, in my experience the check tends to go to the person who asked for it, or just dropped on the table “no rush...”. Be interesting to see what kinds of restaurants these critics frequent. Also, do they combat this by bringing a

I’ve been using all three (though google maps the least).  In the Atlanta area, I-75 has a new express lane that’s completely separate from the interstate.  Apple maps was the first one to recognize the new lane and recognize you’re on it vs constantly trying to redirect me to make a left or right, etc. when it thinks
