I couldn’t find Nynoksa on google maps, but I did find Arkhangelsk.  I found a building called “Fort Knox” and I discovered Google has street view of the town, but that building is down a dirt alley, so there’s no street view of it.  Who would have thought there’d be a place called “Fort Knox” in some out of the way…

Hopefully, everybody gets that gutting the agency is the point of this.  There will be hand wringing, extensions, etc. but in the end, getting rid of all these people and replacing them with who you want in the agency is the underlying goal.

That’s one of the things that’s always frustrated me about the number on the sidewall.  Just put the number I’m supposed to fill to.  Worst case, put both like 32/51 kind of thing.

Yeah, I’ve looked at them.  They’re pricey but the kicker is that, generally speaking, they only reduce sound by 22db-ish, which means I’m wearing ear plugs under them, which defeats the purpose.  

hmm, good to think about.  I’d be using them riding around on a mower and walking around in the yard, so I don’t expect any special kind of interference.  Occasionally, I’d use them for work in a data center.

You think these would fit under a pair of the 3M ear muffs you can get at the big box store?  I like wearing my wired bose noise canceling earbuds under them when I mow or do other loud yard work.
