I use the “keep the change” program with BofA and it works great. I’ve added hundreds of dollars to my savings account without having to think about it at all.

Another option is to use forceps. A little easier than tweezers, since they can lock into the closed position. The tick specific tools are probably better, unless you happen to already have forceps around.

If anyone hasn’t seen Chef John’s method for shucking corn, this is an awesome “trick” and works great.

But then look at Chicago. All that gun control is doing what? Not saying we don’t need a solution to the violence, but I think the knee jerk “we need gun control” isn’t the answer.

Depends on the situation (and I don’t know anything about this one). If he’s got cars in the driveway or on the street, up on blocks, there a long time, etc. If he’s making all sorts of noise, maybe running one of those air drills, sounding like a Nascar pit lane. Then, I might not like it.

This is pretty impressive, but to me the big advance will be when they can come up with a method for stopping all that weight. I hate the idea of using biometrics for stuff like this (any kind of authentication). I view it as a password that can be hacked but never changed.

I think we have to focus on the “charges dismissed” part of this story. I can’t think of a good way we can make it illegal for someone who hasn’t been charge with a crime to own guns.

If I want to cause fast room exits, I just have to drink one or two La Croix’s. For some reason, they give me incredibly smelly gas. My wife has barred me from consuming them, ever.
