But what if you're American? Aren't you supposed to do stupid shit like this then? I thought it was expected.

or maybe just fold it up and put it on a shelf or in a drawer? We find they take up too much space when hanging.
Yeah, we're moving either way, this would just be a nice bonus. I'll look into it, thanks.
If we move to Maine, and then go to school, stay and work there? Still eligible? We're actually considering a move and my wife wants to go after an MBA, this might accelerate things.
I was going to make a comment similar to this. I live out past the burbs. The closest grocery store (or drug store) is 12-15 miles away. Factor in speed limits and lights and it's at least a 30 minute drive just to get there.
"you don't punch some poor bastard doing his job to feed your ass over a "catering issue." "
excellent, thanks.
Naturally, this is the year we spray foamed the attic and crawlspace and installed a new A/C system (including new ducts).
good point, I'll look those up.
sounds like a fun exercise. I'll just pick three imac's that are close to your criteria, I'd honestly like to see the price difference. I'm expect the mac's to be higher, but not expecting a 3x difference. I went with the 27" displays. The level 1 and 2 both appear to have the same resolution. The "gamer" rig has…
Awesome, I'd love to see these specs for $825.
I think until the 5K imac, I would have agreed with you. I certainly have friends who scoff at the price of Apple's (friends who are uber geeks and wouldn't dream of buying some off the shelf computer and who put $1000 video cards in their "gaming rigs").
Nothing too beefy, largely web surfing, email and Office (word & excel, mostly). Some of the things I notice:
I'm just about to pull the trigger on one of these, my 2007 iMac is getting a bit old (though it still works fine). I don't recall ever owning a PC for 7-8 years and have it still be completely useable.
Really? With a 5K monitor? Show us some examples.
For those of you with beards, anyone found a good solution for dust masks, respirators, etc.? I haven't bought a respirator yet and am wondering if I should bother (vs getting something more intrusive, but "better", not skipping it).
FYI regarding the foam plugs vs ear muffs. Hearos have a 33db reduction in sound. For me, they're much more comfortable and easier to deal with.
Anybody know if there's a 220V product that works with this? I have an older 220V AC/Heater that I want to put in my detached garage. It would be very cool if I could remotely turn it off and on so I could either heat or cool it as needed from the house.

Now replace your knot with an Ian knot and you're all set.
FYI, try putting parchment paper under the bacon, it will help with cleanup.
