cool, thanks.
cool, thanks.
Just curious, what's the business model for companies like this? How are they making money?
Any comments on how well either of the two software products discussed works in a laptop setup? At home, my laptop (macbook running 8.1 in bootcamp) is plugged into a 24" monitor. When I'm traveling, it's all by it's lonesome.
That's surprising, I have one in my bag as well and it's awesome. Haven't had anything drop out of it and it's pretty well packed. My peers at work sort of make fun of me, but I can always get exactly what I need immediately instead of digging through the bag or having a bug lump of stuff. I love it.
I have to ship a motorcycle across the country, I might check into how much this would cost over "normal" shipping methods.
For a while I was using the book book iPhone case and carrying everything "on my phone". I liked the case (still do) but I was constantly in fear of losing it. In all the years I've had an iPhone, I have yet to lose one, but having all my eggs in one basket made me quite paranoid about it so I decided the anxiety…
+1 on using the pointy end. Using the hammer end isn't always going to work:
Just curious, why are there 9 links on this page and not one of them is to the new blog being announced? The blog itself is just text in the article?
and by the way, if you smoke, please do us all a favor and stop flicking your damn cigarettes out the window. 1: even though they're small, they add up and make everything look dirty and 2: yes, they actually can cause a fire but mostly 3: ick
you win
Good point, I live way out in the country as well.
I rescued two outdoor cats who would now be dead otherwise. They go crazy if we try to keep them in the house, so we let them out. Most of the time, they're in and out throughout the day, then they come in for the night (when it's cold, not as much during the warmer parts of the year). I know the two outdoor cats…
For the fun of it, you my try using wolframalpha.com. If you haven't played around with that site, I think you'll like it. Go there and search "turks and caicos united states" to get some easy comparisons.
I think the suggestion is to go to the furthest reach of the cord first (without yanking unknowingly on the cord for a little more) and then work your way back. Then, you have slack on the cord until you're all the way back to the beginning. If you can't reach that far spot at the start, you know that you don't have…
I wish they had put Tallow on the chart. I have recently had a little extra fat on some steaks I bought and made a little. It adds an interesting (good) flavor to stuff like fried eggs.
If you have butter, you already have ghee. It's actually pretty easy to make:
Good point, thought it appears to be a little of both. Lack of oxygen, temperature and now, 1-MCP.
Apples and peppers will keep longer in the fridge (that's how we can have apples throughout the year, the orchards put them in cold storage). I agree on the rest of your list though (assuming the veggies haven't been cut into)
That's true, but if you want to help someone, knowing how to do it and also give yourself a tax deduction is worthwhile.
