For those of you who like audio books, check out paperbackswap.com. I'm not affiliated with them, this is just a personal recommendation. My wife has a 60 mile (one way) commute so she listens to tons of books. She's found the best source is this site. It's essentially a trading site. You list books you have to

My wife and I live in a house that was built in the 30's. It's not insulated all that well, has some wiring issues, etc. We don't have a mortgage on it, so we're trying to decide if it's worth renovating or should we not put any money into it (it's a tear down when we sell the 2 acres it's sitting on).

Any

you win, that video was better than all the ones posted in the article.

That's awesome

Did you consider hiring an attorney to represent you? No idea if that would have been cheaper, but it sounds like it would have been easier. I have friends in Washington who always use an attorney (the same one) for speeding tickets (they use him a lot) and they've never paid for one, he always gets them out of it.

Did he do the vows the right way? That would be very entertaining.

"Wuv, twooo Wuv"
"Have you the Wing?"

You nearly perfectly described my reaction to walking into a garden spiders web. Just replace "gorilla" with "little girl" and you're about there.

If I'm not currently a "write stuff down" kind of person, do those of you who are "write stuff down" people think this might be a good way to start? It's hard for me to determine the level of effort required with this method.

Janeane's awesome. This video was boring and the punchline, blah.

I see what you did there.

Yes, this. This would be a great way to do it, then get rid of affirmative action.

I swear when I saw that beyonce picture, I thought it was a man dressing up as a woman. I had to re-read the headline and look again to be sure it was her.

As a 45 year old, I'd say the people who retire at 80 are the ones who, in their 20's, didn't save enough. Save a bunch now (as much as you feasibly can) and you can start to choose your retirement age. Choose not to save much and you'll be catching up later (trust me) and working longer than you want.

My deuce coupe doesn't have any way of holding up the (very heavy) trunk lid. I found a telescoping pole works great for solving this problem.

My mother quit a little more than a year ago with these. Slowly moved herself down to zero nicotine. Now she just puffs away with no nicotine out of habit.

oh hell yeah.

I laid on this bed (or a version of it) at Costco and immediately didn't like it. Apparently, either my upper body is heavier than my lower body, or I just sleep "off center" from the head to foot of the bed because as soon as I laid back, my feet were higher than my head. Very uncomfortable.

I think most of us "non-parents" feel this way. I know I do.
